Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Lovendo's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.

2. User Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts to use Lovendo. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to require identity verification (KYC) for certain features, including but not limited to: creating Moments, sending gifts, and withdrawing funds.

3. Lovendo Moments and Gifts

Moments are time-limited experiences shared between users. Gifts are monetary contributions that support creators. All transactions are processed through secure payment providers. Funds are held in escrow until moment verification is complete.

Escrow Policy: When you send a gift, funds are held securely until: (a) the recipient acknowledges receipt and releases the funds, (b) the 7-day holding period expires, or (c) a dispute is resolved by our moderation team.

4. Payments and Withdrawals

For Purchasers:

• All payments are final unless a dispute is opened within 48 hours of gift delivery
• Disputed transactions are subject to review and may result in refund
• Chargebacks without prior dispute resolution may result in account termination

For Creators (Withdrawal Policy):

• Minimum withdrawal: 100 TL
• Maximum 3 withdrawal requests per day
• Processing time: 1-2 business days for bank transfers
• Withdrawal to Turkish bank accounts only
• Identity verification (KYC) required before first withdrawal

5. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute regarding a Moment or gift:

• Open a dispute through the app within 48 hours of the expected delivery date
• Our AI system will analyze chat history and evidence
• A human moderator will review AI recommendations for high-value transactions
• Final ruling will be issued within 72 hours of dispute opening

Dispute resolution decisions are final and binding. Evidence provided includes chat messages, media shared, and AI-verified proof of delivery where available.

6. Prohibited Content and Behavior

The following are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination:

• Harassment, threats, or violent content
• Hate speech or discrimination based on protected characteristics
• Spam, fraud, or deceptive practices
• Impersonation of others
• Sharing explicit or adult content involving minors
• Requesting or offering payments outside the platform
• Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions

7. Trust Score System

Users receive a Trust Score (0-100) based on payment history, proof delivery rate, thank-you note responses, KYC verification, and community feedback. Higher trust scores unlock premium features and increased transaction limits. Trust scores may be temporarily reduced during active disputes.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you create and share on Lovendo. By posting content, you grant Lovendo a limited license to display and distribute your content within the platform. Our trademarks, logos, and brand materials are protected and may not be used without written consent.

9. Termination and Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service, engage in harmful behavior, or for any reason at our discretion. Upon termination:

• You will lose access to your account immediately
• Pending transactions will be processed according to dispute resolution
• Available balance may be held for 30 days for fraud prevention
• You may request data export before permanent deletion

10. User Safety

Lovendo is a platform for connections, but we cannot guarantee the safety of in-person meetings. Users are encouraged to: meet in public places, inform friends of meeting plans, trust their instincts, and report suspicious behavior immediately. Lovendo is not liable for any harm resulting from in-person meetings.

11. Disclaimers and Limitations

Lovendo is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Individual users are responsible for their own interactions and the safety of in-person meetings.

Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid in the last 12 months, or (b) 100 TL.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey. Any disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with the Turkish Commercial Code in Istanbul.

For consumer disputes, you may also use the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified 30 days in advance via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Lovendo after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to material changes, you may terminate your account within 30 days of notice.
